General Information
The AMOA National Dart Association (NDA) is the sanctioning body of electronic darting, dedicated to the standardization, recognition, promotion and growth of competition worldwide.  The NDA is a trade organization comprised of coin-operated vending companies who own and service equipment ranging from dartboards to jukeboxes to vending machines.  Over 58,000 players are sanctioned annually, participating in dart leagues run by our members in over 10,000 locations worldwide.

Led by President Britt Bruner and Executive Director Leslie Murphy, the NDA is a not-for-profit organization with a staff of professional program administrators at the International Headquarters in Indianapolis, Indiana.  The mission of the NDA is to be the acknowledged leader, representative and representative of electronic darting.

Soft-tip darting is one of the fastest growing recreational sports of the last two decades. As members of the Amusement and Music Operators Association (AMOA), the NDA's founders saw the benefit that organized league play had on other sports and created the AMOA National Dart Association to provide benefits to coin-operated vending companies and their players that would promote the sport by increasing the player base.

History
The AMOA and the NDA's manufacturer sponsors were early supporters of the Association and provided needed exposure and input. Early tasks for the NDA included creating standard rules of play, national tournaments, a player-founded publication, and establishing an administrative office.

Today the AMOA National Dart Association is the official sanctioning body for the sport of soft-tip electronic darting. The emphasis of the trade association is the promotion, recognition and standardization of league play. The NDA is now an international organization with members from 8 countries.
